IMAGE GENERATION & REFERENCE EDITING
Nano Banana 2.1
Describe a new image, or bring a photo and explain what to change.
6 credits per image · One downloadable PNG
Create with Nano Banana 2.1 →Text only, or 1–2 reference images. JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 5 MB each.
Square 1024×1024 · Portrait 928×1152 · Landscape 1376×768
Opens the studio with 2.1 selected. Review your prompt and images, then choose Generate. Sign-in is required to generate.
Start with a description or an existing image
For a new image, describe the subject, composition, lighting and any exact text. For an edit, upload the source, name the change, and say which details must stay the same. A second reference can supply another subject or background.
For example: “Change the background to a warm off-white studio. Keep the bottle, label text, camera angle and reflections unchanged.” This is a prompt suggestion, not a generated example.
In the studio, check Nano Banana 2.1, choose a ratio and review the 6-credit quote. Opening the studio does not submit a request. Existing text stays in place; an unfinished request must finish or recover before you start another.
What is available here
PromptToVisual currently supports up to two reference images and the three sizes shown above. Each completed request produces one flat PNG. Review lettering, faces, geometry and any unintended changes before using it.
There are no 14-reference, 2K/4K or web-search controls in this studio. Google’s broader model capabilities and other providers’ API options do not describe the controls available here.
If sign-in or a reload cannot restore uploaded image bytes, upload your references again. A saved prompt is not a saved image.
Choose the right starting point
Replace text on a poster for a guided editing task, combine two images for a composition, or prepare a product photo. These task pages keep their own model defaults.
For release information, external API capabilities and provider pricing, read the Nano Banana 2.1 guide. The historical Nano Banana 2 page preserves its original example; that image is not a 2.1 sample.
