- Select Create PDF, wait for the page counter to finish, and download the resulting PDF. Changing images or document settings clears the old export so you can build a fresh file.
What does this image-to-PDF tool create?
It creates a single PDF document containing one picture on each page. A collection of photographed notes, product views, travel photos or presentation images can be organized into a file that a recipient opens in a PDF reader. All pages share the selected paper size and orientation. This is image conversion, not document recognition: words that appear inside a picture remain part of that picture. The tool does not create searchable text, editable paragraphs, form fields or a tagged accessible document. If those features matter, use a dedicated document or OCR workflow instead.
Which image formats and sizes can I use?
Inputs are still JPG, PNG and WebP files, up to 5 MB and 20 megapixels each. You can add at most six images to a document. A corrupt image or unsupported format produces an error instead of a fake completed download. HEIC, SVG, existing PDF files and animated image sequences are not supported as inputs. Convert a compatible copy on your device if necessary, and retain the original. Photos are reduced to a maximum of 1600 pixels on the longest edge during preparation to keep the working set manageable in a browser.
How do A4, US Letter and orientation affect the result?
A4 and US Letter are different page shapes. Choose the paper size expected by the person who will receive or print the file. Portrait places the longer edge vertically; landscape places it horizontally. A landscape photograph may use more of a landscape page, while a tall screenshot often fits a portrait page better. The entire image stays visible because it is fitted inside the page rather than cropped. A mismatch between the image ratio and page ratio leaves additional white space. Switching orientation does not rotate the photograph itself.
How should I choose the page margin?
The margin slider uses points, with 72 points equal to one inch. The default 18-point margin is a quarter inch. Increasing the margin reduces the space available for the picture without removing any part of it. Choosing zero removes the requested margin, but white space can still remain when the image and page ratios differ. Printer hardware may also impose its own margins. Review the PDF in the application you intend to use and check its print settings before expecting a borderless physical copy.
Will the PDF preserve original image quality?
The document contains newly rendered JPEG versions of the prepared images, not the untouched source files. Images above the preparation limit are reduced, and JPEG encoding may soften small text or introduce compression artifacts. Transparent areas are placed on white. This tradeoff keeps a small document practical for sharing, but it is not a lossless archive or a promise of print-quality resolution. For fine diagrams, scanned small print or a large print job, examine the exported PDF at the actual viewing size and keep the original high-resolution material.
How can I check that page order is correct?
The numbered list beside each thumbnail is the document order. The left-arrow control moves that image one place earlier. The preview buttons let you examine individual pages before export; selecting a preview page does not change the order. After downloading, open the PDF and confirm that its page count matches the number of images you intended to include. For example, three selected photos should produce three pages, not a single collage. If the order is wrong, rearrange the list and create a new PDF before sharing it.
Are images uploaded, and is there an account requirement?
Image preparation and PDF creation happen in this browser. You do not need to sign in, spend image-generation credits or upload the selected files to a conversion server. The encoding library may load when you create your first PDF; that code download is separate from uploading your pictures. Closing or refreshing the page clears the working session. Downloads do not retain the original photo EXIF data, but any personal information visibly photographed remains visible in the PDF. Review the document itself before sending it to someone else.
What should I do if creation fails or the file is too large?
Try fewer images and close other heavy tabs on a memory-constrained device. Use Image Resize to prepare a smaller copy if a source exceeds the input limit. Creating a PDF is not a guarantee that its file size will be below an email or application upload limit, so check the displayed export size and the receiving service’s requirements. Keep the tab open until creation finishes. If you change an image, margin or page setting afterward, build again; the old download is cleared intentionally to prevent sharing an outdated result.
