How to watermark your image
Enter a name, website or brand, then set color, size and opacity. Use the position sliders for a single mark or turn on repetition to tile the text across the photo. Check it against both light and dark areas before exporting.
- Choose a photo and enter a name, website or brand in the watermark field.
- Choose text color and opacity. Place one mark with the sliders, or enable Repeat watermark for six marks across the photo.
- Inspect light and dark parts of the image, select an output format, and download.
Can I upload a logo watermark?
Not in this version. The watermark is text entered in the field. Use the text controls to add a brand name or website address; logo-image placement is not supported.
Does watermarking protect the image from copying?
A visible mark can identify the intended owner or source, but it cannot prevent copying or guarantee that the mark cannot be removed. Keep your original file.
How should I choose opacity?
Start with the default 45 percent and inspect the preview. Increase it when the text blends into the photo; reduce it when it obscures important details. Repeated marks use the same opacity setting.
Where should I place a single text watermark?
Choose a position that identifies the source without hiding the part of the photo someone needs to evaluate. For a product preview, that might be a clear area beside the object; for a portfolio sample, it might be an area with consistent contrast. The horizontal and vertical sliders move the whole text block within the supported range. They are not a drag-anywhere layer editor. A corner mark can be easy to crop away, while a central mark may cover useful detail. Neither position guarantees protection, so choose based on the purpose of the preview.
When is a repeated watermark useful?
Repeat watermark places six copies of the same text across the image. It can make the source visible in several regions of a sample, but it also adds visual clutter. The repeated marks share one text value, color, size and opacity; you cannot edit their positions individually. Compare the repeated result with a single mark before choosing one. If the purpose is to let a customer inspect texture or fine detail, heavy repeated lettering may make that inspection difficult. Keep an unmarked original for your own archive and any delivery where the mark is unnecessary.
How do I choose color and opacity together?
Opacity controls how strongly the text mixes with the photo underneath it. A pale mark may disappear on a bright wall and remain visible on a dark jacket in the same image. Color and opacity therefore need to be evaluated together. Start with the default setting, then look across several parts of the photo rather than only the center. Increase contrast if the source name becomes unreadable, or reduce the mark if it covers essential detail. There is no automatic contrast detector or guarantee of visibility after another site compresses or resizes the picture.
What information should I put in the mark?
A short name, brand or website address usually fits more comfortably than a long ownership statement. Check spelling carefully because the exported mark becomes part of the image. Use information you are comfortable making visible wherever the picture is shared. This tool does not validate a website address, link the text to a destination or create a clickable overlay. It also does not verify authorship. Adding a name is a visible label, not evidence that you created the underlying image or hold permission to use it.
Can I watermark a batch or place a logo?
This page processes one photo at a time and accepts text for the mark. It does not apply settings to a folder, add an uploaded logo, create a transparent logo layer or maintain a batch queue. For another photo, start a new editing pass and inspect the placement again because a different composition may need different settings. Do not assume that a mark readable on one picture will be readable on every picture in a set. If you need precise logo placement or consistent batch delivery, use a tool that explicitly supports those operations.
What should I review in the exported copy?
Open the downloaded copy and check the source name, visibility, photo detail and file dimensions. Keep the original untouched so you can create an unmarked version or revise the mark later. The download contains flattened pixels rather than a removable watermark layer. Reopening that image here will not let you select or erase the previous mark. If you choose JPG, inspect edges and small lettering for compression artifacts. PNG preserves the newly rendered pixels without JPEG compression, but it does not turn a small or blurry source into a high-resolution photograph.
What should I check before downloading?
Text watermarks only; uploading a logo is not supported here. A visible watermark is not removal-proof. This tool adds no automatic brand mark of its own. The downloaded image is flattened.
Is it free and private?
This tool runs locally without sign-in, credits or uploading your files. Choosing AI editing prepares a separate studio workflow; generation requires an account and credits.
What happens to image metadata?
Downloads are newly rendered flat images. Original EXIF, GPS information, animation and editable layers are not copied. Keep your original file if you need that information.
